Friday, June 12, 2026, marks the 10th running of the Tahoe 200 Endurance Run. This year’s participants will experience the full 200-mile, single-loop course, which circumnavigates the beautiful deep blue waters of Lake Tahoe via the iconic Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT). Runners will set off from Heavenly Stagecoach Lodge in Stateline, Nevada, and have 105 hours (four days and 9 hours) to complete the loop and earn their Tahoe 200 buckles. Along the way, they’ll navigate just over 32,000 feet of elevation gain and loss, with support from 12 full aid stations and three sleep stations. Read the 2026 Tahoe 200 runner manual.

Established in 1996, the classic event hosts one of the oldest 100-milers in the United States and has earned a reputation for its scenic course, run entirely on trails, including 65 miles on the iconic Ice Age Trail, supportive volunteers and old-school race vibe. The 100-mile runners have 30 hours to navigate a course with 8,800 feet of climbs and descents to earn their Kettle Moraine 100 buckles and 2027 Western States qualifiers. Drew Dinan traded the tropics of the Florida Keys for the trails of Bend, OR. Once living the Jimmy Buffett lifestyle, working on fishing boats and owning only a single pair of flip flops, he now has way too many running shoes in his closet and never hears the end of it from his loving wife. He is on a constant quest to find the best happy hours, likes to complain when it’s cold outside, and one day hopes to travel the country writing reviews on chicken wings.
