50 KM Course

The 50K course at Barr Lake offers a unique ultra-distance experience on one of Colorado’s flattest and fastest trails, featuring 100% dirt terrain. Spanning 31.6 miles with just 460 feet of elevation gain, this scenic looped course consists of three laps around Barr Lake, providing runners with continuous views of the water and the stunning front range. With no major hill climbs and a max elevation of 5,106 feet, the Barr Lake 50K is designed for speed and consistency, making it an ideal choice for those chasing a PR or completing their first 50K. Three well-placed aid stations are available on each loop to keep you fueled and ready. With a generous 9-hour time limit, this ultra adventure is as inviting as it is rewarding, offering a memorable journey through the natural beauty of the Barr Lake trail.
