Featured: Peterson Ridge Rumble (Sisters, OR)
In its 23rd year, this newly minted 2025 Old School Ultra in Central Oregon kicks off on Sunday and consists of 40 miles of scenic trails at the base of the Cascade Mountains, including up close and personal views of the Three Sisters (South, Middle and North), which are all covered in snow right now. The classic race is mostly single-track trail with some dirt road sections, along with just over 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Runners will experience some gentle uphill and downhill sections, along with a couple of grinder climbs, but a fast finish awaits at the local high school track with burritos and local pastries at the finish.
