Run Rabbit Run

We begin in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, at the Run Rabbit Run 100-mile and 50-mile races. Runners in the highly competitive 100-mile Hare division set off Friday morning, gunning for the $20,000 top men’s and women’s prizes as they attempted to navigate over 20,000 feet of elevation gain on beautiful mountain trails in the Routt National Forest. In the men’s race, Jesse Rich moved into the lead near the halfway mark and never looked back, winning in a speedy time of 17:42:56. Jon Harrison crossed the line in second in 19:06:36, and J.P. Giblin held on for third (19:20:05). Riley Brady earned top honors in the female contest and placed eighth overall with an impressive time of 20:29:12.
