Adam Peterman
Adam Peterman is the eighth ranked male for 2021. Peterman ran only two races, but they were highly competitive, and he won them both. He posted the second-fastest time ever at the venerable JFK 50-miler, and broke Jim Walmsley’s course record at the Speedgoat 50k. The former University of Colorado steeplechaser now lives with his partner, Erin Clark, in Missoula, Montana, where he coaches at his alma mater, Hellgate High School. – John Medinger. Katie Asmuth
Katie Asmuth checks in at number eight for the women in 2021. Winner of the Bear 100 in 2019, last year, Asmuth won the Bandera 100K – despite a fall that broke her nose – and placed fifth at Western States.
