Annie Hughes is the third ranked female for 2021. Just two years into her ultra career, Hughes won five races during the year, including the Leadville Trail 100 and the Moab 240. A native of Wisconsin, her family moved to Buena Vista, Colorado, five years ago. She now lives up the road in Leadville, where she is a student at Colorado Mountain College. – John Medinger. I guess it’s *who* you know. Not how well you run. Probably similar to that of ex-execs of big oil (Chevron) who sit in their $1.85 million dollar home in Sedona while jumping on the woke bandwagon.
