Aurélien Dunand-Pallaz
Aurélien Dunand-Pallaz is the men’s second-ranked Worldwide UROY. Dunand-Pallaz executed a win at his first attempt at the Hardrock 100 in July and won the La Diagonale Des Fous 170k in October. He also finished on the podium in three shorter ultras throughout the season. Born and raised in the Alps, Dunand-Pallaz was a soccer player and skier during his youth. Katie Schide
Katie Schide is the runner-up Worldwide UROY in 2023. Schide placed second at Western States in the second-fastest time in 50 years. She also finished second at the OCC 53k at UTMB just two months later. Schide then took the win at La Diagonale Des Fous 170k on Réunion Island in October.
