Cocodona 250
We lead things off in Flagstaff, Arizona, at one of the world’s premier 200-plus-mile races, the Cocodona 250. The fifth edition of the race saw Rachel Entrekin once again steal the show, cementing herself as the queen of the desert by winning the race outright in a new course record time of 56:09:48 and taking home the female title for the third year in a row.
Entrekin charged hard out of the gates to grab an early lead and never looked back, taking over 2.5 hours off Dan Green’s previous course mark. Runner-up honors went to Courtney Dauwalter in 61:58:35, sixth overall, while Megan Eckert rounded out the women’s podium in third in 63:09:07 and finished eighth overall. Both Dauwalter and Eckert ran under Entrekin’s previous course record time from 2025, and now own the second and third-fastest female times, respectively.
In the men’s race, three runners cracked the 60-hour mark, paced by Kilian Korth in 57:28:36. Korth placed second overall and now has the second-fastest time in race history. Cody Poskin also went under Green’s previous course record, finishing second in the men’s race and third overall in 58:13:44. DJ Fox earned a third-place finish among men, fourth overall, in 59:29:03.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the runner who tragically passed away during the race, and we send our deepest condolences.
