Crystal Mountain, Washington, July 26. Michael Wardian of Arlington, Virginia won the 15th annual White River 50, besting Adam Lint of Indiana, Pennsylvania
by seven minutes. Jasper Halekas of Oakland was third.
Susannah Beck from Eugene, Oregon was the women’s champion, setting a new course record in the process. Kami Semick of Bend, Oregon was second and
Annie Thiessen of Tacoma was third. The race served as the USATF 50-mile trail championship and offered a total of $7500 in prize money.
