Easton, Washington, August 28. Rod Bien of Bend, Oregon won the 13th annual Cascade Crest Classic 100, breaking Jeff Browning’s course record in the process. Shawna Tompkins was the women’s winner, missing Darcy Africa’s 2007 course record by less than a minute.
Runners enjoyed ideal weather, with high temperatures in the low 70s.
