Honolulu, HI, January 16. Jason Loutitt from Vancouver, British Columbia won the 11th annual HURT (Hawaiian Ultra Running Team) 100-Mile Endurance Run. Loutitt finished comfortably ahead of Paul Hopwood. Hannah Roberts of Honolulu was the women’s winner.
The run features 24,000 feet of climb on the rugged trails in the rainforest above Honolulu. Only 32 of the 140 starters finished the course within the 36-hour time limit.
