Sylacauga, Alabama, November 7. John Dove and Sarah Woerner were winners of the third annual Pinhoti 100.
Dove, who was second last year, ran 30 minutes faster this time around. Woerner, running her first 100-miler, won comfortably over Cynthia Heady. 73 runners finished within the 31-hour time limit. Runners encountered chilly conditions, with high temperatures in the mid-50s and overnight lows near freezing.
