Huntsville, Texas, February 7. Greg Crowther of Seattle and Elizabeth Howard of San Antonio posted fast wins at the 18th annual Rocky Raccoon 100 Mile Endurance Run.
Crowther followed up his recent win at the JFK 50 Mile with another strong performance, leading wire to wire for the win. Howard also led the women for the entire race, and finished second overall. Jamie Donaldson was second female and sixth overall. Weather conditions were excellent and 215 runners finished the race within the 30-hour time limit, 89 of them in less than 24 hours. A record 342 runners started the race, which consists of five loops in Huntsville State Park.
