Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, August 3. Tim Clement of Solon, Ohio won the 2nd annual Burning River 100 Mile
Run that finished here today. Connie Gardner of Medina, Ohio set a new women’s course record, and
placed second overall.
Starting in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, the run follows the scenic Cuyahoga River Valley Corridor though the
Cleveland Metroparks, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and Metro Parks Serving Summit County before
finishing in downtown Cuyahoga Falls. 139 runners started the race, and 89 finished within the 30-hour
time limit.
