Leadville, Colorado, August 17. Duncan Callahan of Gunnison, Colorado won the 26th annual Leadville Trail 100, which concluded here today.
Callahan held off a late charge by Andrew Skurka of Seekonk, Massachusetts to win by 15 minutes.
Helen Cospolich of Breckenridge, Colorado was the women’s winner, finishing more than an hour ahead of Stephanie Ehret of Boulder. Bill
Finkbeiner of Auburn, California finished the race for the 25th consecutive year.
Runners were hampered by cold, rainy weather. There were 186 finishers out of 445 starters.
