Hayden Hawks is second in the balloting for the men’s World UltraRunner of the Year. The former Southern Utah University track star won Courmayeur-Champex-Chamonix (CCC) 101k in the Alps. This was a highlight in a year that also saw a close third-place finish at Western States 100 and a course-record win at Black Canyon 100k in Arizona.
