Anne Flower named #2 2025 UltraRunner of the Year

Anne Flower is second in this year’s UROY voting. She had a breakout year in 2025, first winning the Leadville Trail Marathon and Silver Rush 50-mile in the summer, which earned her entry into the Leadville 100-mile race. In her debut at the 100-mile distance, she broke Ann Trason’s legendary 31-year-old course record with a time of 17:58:19, finishing second overall. Just three months later, she set a new women’s 50-mile world record of 5:18:57 at Tunnel Hill in November, cementing her status as one of the year’s most impressive ultrarunners.
