In the early morning hours on Sunday, Dec. 19, police arrived in force at the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary in Titusville, Florida, joining runners who had been scouring the woods since 11 p.m. at the Ancient Oaks 100-Mile Endurance Run, looking for 57-year-old Earl Blewett of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who disappeared on a 3.64-mile loop course. Blewett was last seen wearing a neon green and yellow tank top, black shorts, black waist pack, small light and possibly glasses. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Blewett is asked to contact the Titusville Police Department at (321) 264-7800.

Our editorial team was enormously happy to be back at TRE, an annual industry showcase that was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. The event’s return was a gathering of running brands from all over the country, allowing our team to interact with companies face to face again and get a preview of items we’ll be testing in 2022. We’ve narrowed our focus to shoes in this recap; Part 2 will showcase other gear and accessories.
