It’s an exciting weekend for all of us as the 21st Tamalpa Headlands 50k presented by UltraRunning Magazine headlines the North American calendar on Saturday, August 19. Other big races include the Leadville 100 in Colorado, the Marquette Trail 50/50 in Michigan and more.

Aurélien Dunand-Pallaz won Hardrock by 50 minutes over Beñat Marmissolle, another Frenchman, and more than 2 hours ahead of the first American, Courtney Dauwalter. He took the time to reflect on his win with us and other things ultrarunning related, including the upcoming UTMB and the Diagonale Des Fous in the Reunion Island in October.

Our Ultra Weekend Recap for August 12-13 has results from the Eastern States 100 in Pennsylvania, the Habanero Hundred in Texas, the Capes 100 in Nova Scotia and we were only able to find out about the winners of the Fat Dog 120 in British Columbia due to limited service at the finish line.
