100 Marathons in 100 Days. UltraRunning Magazine ambassador Jacky Hunt-Broersma joins us on day 82 on her quest to run 100 marathons in 100 days. What makes this endeavor truly remarkable is that Jacky is an amputee. Her left leg was amputated below the knee in order to save her life due to a rare form of cancer. Jacky talks with URM about her record-setting feat, wearing a running blade and her ultra experience.

Despite last week’s warmer temperatures around the country, a bit of Old Man Winter was reported at a handful of races on UltraRunning Calendar over the weekend. It’s hard to say exactly what we’ll see during the rest of this month, but we’ll take all the additional precipitation we can handle ahead of the hot summer ahead.
