Crystal Mountain, Washington, July 30. Uli Steidl from Seattle and Shawna Thompkins from Mt Vernon, Washington were the winners at the White River 50 held on the slopes of Mt Rainier. Steidl, a former course record holder here, outdistanced Timothy Olson for the win, but was well outside Anton Krupicka’s 6:25 course record.
