Jim Walmsley is the men’s 2025 World UltraRunner of the Year. Walmsley had a dominant season that included winning the Chianti Ultra Trail 120k in Italy in March, handily defeating previous UTMB champions Kilian Jornet and Vincent Bouillard. He also won both the OCC 61k race at the UTMB World Series Finals in August and the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships Long Trail 82k in late September. Walmsley was the recipient of the men’s 2025 UltraRunner of Year award in North America.
