Katie Schide is the 2025 women’s UltraRunner of the Year for the second consecutive year. She had an outstanding 2025, winning the Hardrock 100 in her debut appearance and setting a new women’s counterclockwise course record with a time of 25:50:23, making her the first woman to finish in under 26 hours. She also won the Madeira Island Ultra-Trail 115k race and captured a gold medal for Team USA in the Long Trail race (82k/50.9 miles) at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Spain.
