It’s the last day of the year and we have some results from around North America for our Ultra Weekend Recap. Leading the way is the Tuscobia Winter Ultra 160-miler in Wisconsin, the New Year’s One Day shorter distances in California and the Revenuer’s Run 8-hour in Ohio.

A self-supported 160-mile adventure run, the Tuscobia Winter Ultra on the Tuscobia State Trail in Northern Wisconsin saw a total of 13 finishers. Herman Watson from Bozeman, Montana, won the event in 37 hours and 35 minutes. Robert Henderson of Champlin, Minnesota, finished second 21 minutes back in 37 hours and 56 minutes. Rounding out the men’s podium was Addison Hendricks out of Pensacola, Florida, with a time of 47 hours and 19 minutes. For the women, Simone Valentin Austin from Naples, Florida, won in 57 hours and 13 minutes. She had over 3 hours on the runner-up, Fay Norby of Plymouth, Minnesota, who came in with a time of 60 hours and 55 minutes. The third and final finisher was Manchester, Maryland’s Amy Adams in 63 hours and 47 minutes. Check out the full results, including the accompanying 80-miler, here.

The New Year’s One Day is still rolling in San Jose, California, but the 6 and 12-hour results are in. Kaitlyn Spees of Menlo Park, California, won the women’s 6-hour race with 42.29 miles. Second place went to Lisa Donchak out of San Bruno, California, who made it 35.07 miles, and finishing third was Mandy Winkler from Travis Air Force Base, California, with 33.01 miles.
