Easton, Washington, August 24. Tom Ederer of Seattle and Suzanna Bon of Sonoma, California were the winners at the Cascade Crest Classic 100-mile endurance run, which finished here
today. Ederer, running his first 100-miler, edged out former winner Phil Shaw for the victory. Bon, who won Angeles Crest last year, took the lead from Gwen Scott near the halfway point, and
pulled away to win by over an hour. It was also Scott’s first 100-mile finish.
The race was run under ideal conditions, with sunny skies on Saturday and high temperatures in the upper 70s. There were 77 finishers out of 107 starters. Full results are available at:
