Have you thought of having some of the articles on a “listen to” format? I would love to listen to some articles when I’m driving or just walking around. It would be really a great way to attract people to the magazine and retain current people like me who doesn’t have a chance to read most articles. The New Yorker magazine has that format and it’s really great!!! Thank you!
Good idea Ana! Writers could submit and audio file along with text. Offer a audio subscription as a possible option or bundle with print/digital. Many of your contributors have their own podcasts or appear on podcasts so there could be a partnering cross-marketing component which would help both engage audience.
Hey Ana, Great idea. I do listen to some of the New Yorker stuff. We’ve discussed it in the past but will bring it up again. Some content wouldn’t translate to an audio format but a lot could..Thanks for the suggestion
