Spectacular come-from-behind win by Ellie Greenwood of North Vancouver, BC at the Comrades Marathon! She was more than 6 minutes behind 8-time champ Elena Nurgalieva with 18km to go, and won by 5 minutes in 6:18:14.
The men’s race was won by South African Bongmusa Mthembu in 5:28:34. Top American finisher was Michael Wardian of Arlington, VA, who finished 36th in 6:08:23.
