Welcome to November on our North American UltraRunning Calendar. In a month when you might think ultrarunners start looking toward more traditional winter activities, this is actually a deep weekend—to the tune of 58 races. There’s a classic 100-miler in Northern California on a portion of the Western States course, a point-to-point and rugged 100-miler in Alabama, 25 spots up for grabs at the 2023 Leadville 100 in the Lone Star State, and so many more we can’t possibly cover them all here.

We had a big weekend down in the desert for our final Ultra Weekend Recap of October at the first North American 2023 Western States Golden Ticket Race, a second year event the San Jacinto 50k, the Chicago Lakefront 50/50 and more races from our What’s Up In Ultra than we can keep track of. Incredibly, all of the below events had at least one course record set. Feel free to add comments and links to other race results below.

This is the weekend on our UltraRunning Calendar that many have been waiting for: the 20th annual Javelina Jundred trail and ultrarunning extravaganza in Fountain Hills, Arizona, on Saturday, October 29. Featuring the first of four 2023 Western States Golden Ticket races in North America as well as two other race distances, this Halloween party in the Southwest is the place to be this weekend.
