Monroe Cross Trail 50k was my first official 50k finish. What an amazing race! The race was well organized and the race director and volunteers are wonderful!!!
This race gives back more than you pay.
It’s put on by a caring race director, and passionate volunteers; runners for runners. And, it ends at a brewery. Need I say more?
Monroe Cross Trail 50 was my first true Ultra race. I did the 50k and this race was so well organized with every level of support the runners need available. The trail itself is always beautiful and makes for a nice day of running. This is one to go on my “to do” list every year!
Third time running the Monroe Cross Trail–first year was the 50 miler and this is the second time doing the 50K. Love the paved trail through many different type of locations. The race director, Diane Lopez, is an experienced ultra trail runner and knows what the runners need–every well spaced aid station had helpful, cheerful volunteers and all food and supplies needed–especially the ice and cooling towels on this hot day.
This was my first time running a 50K and the Monroe Cross Trail was a great experience. A beautiful route with great support at the well-stock aid stations and exceptional volunteers. Special callout to the race director Diane Lopez for her attention to detail and support.
Arrowhead 135 in northern Minnesota. It was my first winter ultra and it did not disappoint. It was a mild year as far as temps go but this played into the trail conditions being extra tough. It was quite the adventure!
