Colt 45 Trail Run
The Colt 45 Trail Run features the beautiful trails in Colt Creek State Park. Runners will travel through "longleaf pine flatwoods, thick cypress domes, and open vistas. This park is home to many species of plants and animals - including bald eagles, white-tailed deer, American alligators, otters, gopher tortoise, and the Sherman’s fox squirrel"! There are now FOUR distances, for those who want an "extra kick"...
The "Colt Double Malt" is the 45 miler with a BONUS LOOP thrown in for a total of 60 miles.
The "Original Colt 45" is three 14-mile loops with a 3-mile starter loop for a total of 45 miles.
The "Colt Silver" is two 14-mile loops which equals a 45K.
The "Colt Mini" replaces the furlongs distance and will be 1 x 14 M loop.
The course will be open from 7am-11pm for all four distances.
