Florida (and the East Coast) are increasingly-becoming known for something else. I know it’s gone largely-unnoticed: While all of you West Siders in Tupac-Land have been eagerly awaiting Twitter updates from Rob Krar’s beard, Katalin Nagy, Traci Falbo, Maggie Guterl, and Aly Venti have been setting the ultrarunning world on fire this year, both here and abroad.
Dave Krupski is a lawyer, runner, writer, and running coach (although not necessarily in that order). He has run about 100 marathons and ultras combined over the past dozen years, including the Boston Marathon, NYC Marathon, the Keys 100, Badwater 135, the 153-mile Spartathlon in Greece, and a 175-mile race in Italy called the UltraMilano-Sanremo. Dave loves to run, but really loves to enjoy life, have fun, and make people laugh (often at his own expense). He is the founder of the Zwitty Ultra coaching program, which he created with his wife Alex as their public proclamation of what is most important to them. ("Zwitty" is a combination of their kids' names . . . Zoey (almost 3 years old) and Witt (1 year old).
