The Witching Hours
The race will take place on the trails at Manorville Hills, one of Long Island’s most unique and expansive trail systems. With 3-hour, 6-hour, and 12-hour options, The Witching Hours invites you to run, hike, or meander along a 5k loop featuring long pine corridors, soft needle-covered paths, and past an iconic wooden teepee that feels like something out of a fairytale. The course is runnable and beginner-friendly, but with approximately 270 feet of elevation gain per loop, still enough of a challenge to keep seasoned runners intrigued.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference.
What to expect:
A 5k loop with ~270 ft gain, winding through pines and rolling hills
1 well-stocked aid station with lots of tasty treats at start/finish of loop
Come-as-you-are community vibes—walkers, newbies, and experienced runners are all welcome
Swag, finisher medals guaranteed for everyone who signs up by 10/1.
A large covered area will be provided for runners to leave their belongings; no individual tents allowed
