Wild Turkey Trail Runs
Join us for a Free Trail Race at Valley Falls State Park - we'll provide food and drinks (Tailwind/Gatorade) - but bring some of your own fuel as well. The aid station is under a large park shelter right next to the parking area so you can use your car as your own personal aid station!
COURSE: The run is a moderately difficult 10 mile figure 8 loop with a single aid station in the middle directly adjacent to the parking lot. (see link to loop on Strava - https://www.strava.com/routes/3127321718973675108) and course map in the photos above. This course is at beautiful Valley Falls State Park just east of Fairmont, WV. Elevation gain is approximately 175 ft per mile. This race is free, but the tradition is to bring your own food to contribute to the aid station or to eat yourself. The course will be marked.
