Wild Kaiser

IT'S WILD ALRIGHT! Kaiser Woods in the Sub Black Hills are an indescribable and special place. Close to town, this private forest land, mixed with a new city park has been Olympia's underground playground for the serious adventurers for many years. The trails, build by mountain bikers are gnarly, steep and incredibly challenging. You will climb every hill, bomb down every singletrack, cut through every hillside and run every cool section of this incredible wild place. The vertical gain is massive and you will earn it. Flat sections? Hardly exist. The hills are tough, the woods are moody. This place is so confusing that you get turned around in an instance. The endless vertical gain at every turn can make you cry, or squeal with happiness.
This is a tough course and should not be your first trail race.
