Wild Cajun Trail Runs
EVENT OVERVIEW
The Wild Cajun Trail Runs is an endurance event featuring a trail 10K, 13M, 27M & 40M in the Pine Forest, Winding Rivers, Cypress Swamps, and Moss-Draped Trees of Southeast Lousiana at Sam Houston Jones State Park. The event follows 13-mile loop beginning and ending in Sam Houston Jones State Park in Lake Charles Lousiana.
COURSE OVERVIEW
- Surface: Wide dirt single track trails, some roots, bridges.
- Course: Hiking Trails in Sam Houston Jones State Park.
- Elevation: Relatively flat showing 300-foot elevation every 13.5M loop.
- Location: Sam Houston Jones State Park - Pavilion (107 Sutherland Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70611)
- Weather: Historic Average 52-71 degrees
- No Cup Race: We don't serve cups, please make sure to bring your own water-carrying system!
- Pacer: (40 Miler Only) Only 1 Pacer Per Runner and only allowed for last loop of Race (Signup Here)
