West Virginia Trail Fest
Welcome to the West Virginia Trail Festival (WvTF). WILD. TOUGH. FUN. This family-oriented annual trail running event will occur every May in the heart of Pocahontas County, WV. Pocahontas is known as WV most mountainous county! The WvTF will have a series of trail races: 5K, 30K, 60K, 100k, and kids fun run. Other weekend activities will include a movie night, kids activities, a ride on the Cass Historic Railroad, awards ceremony, and Mother's Day breakfast. The goal is to create a unique one-of-a-kind experience that will highlight West Virginia’s beautiful and mountainous landscape while highlighting her unique history: West Virginia's beautiful State Parks, the beautiful Monongahela National Forest, Cass Historic Railroad, the Green Bank Observatory (GBO), the historic local fire towers, Snowshoe Ski Resort, and Pocahontas County.
