Vashon Island Ultramarathon & Trail Run
There was such a great turn-out, such a glorious day, where runners frolicked on the trails and challenged themselves in many ways, we are looking forward to next year. We are so thankful for the dozens of volunteers that help us bring these trail runs to you, they are a testament to the community we are privileged to be a part of. From Personal Bests to DNFs, running with friends and celebrating a "metric birthday" there are so many stories to tell. Be sure to share yours!
The Vashon Island Ultramarathon & Trail Run is the only event on Vashon Island to connect previously unconnected trail systems which span miles of the islands woods and open space – encompassing local and county parks, natural preserves, and private property, giving participants a truly unique opportunity to explore all the beauty that Vashon has to offer. We offer two distances, a 10 mile trail run and a 50k ultramarathon. Start small or go big! Either way train well and join us for some fun on June 4th!
