Dodgeville, WI

The Driftless Trail Collective will hold our inaugural trail race on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Governor Dodge State Park, with proceeds going to the Friends of Governor Dodge.

We will have a 50k event beginning at 7 am and a 10k beginning at 8 am. Packet pick-up and a few announcements will start promptly at 6 am. There will be 5 fully stocked aid stations (2 of which you will visit twice) on the 50k course and a single aid station on the 10k course, with portable bathrooms placed at regular intervals. The 50k has approximately 4,000 ft of elevation gain and a 9-hour cut-off. The 10k has 900 ft of elevation gain and no cut-off.

Expect traditional race fare at aid stations (water, soda, pb&j, fruit, salty snacks, candy, etc.). The race takes place during turkey hunting season, and we highly advise wearing blaze orange or high-visibility gear. The event will be held rain, snow, or shine, and we reserve the right to modify or cancel the event due to trail conditions, natural disaster, weather, pandemic, or at the request of the WI DNR or local officials.

You can expect a joyful, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for this trail race, highlighting a beautiful state park in the Driftless Area of southwestern Wisconsin. Registration will open on November 15 and will include a registration item and a finisher's item.
