The Wicked Windstone
The Venue
Nestled among the farms, forests, and hills of Columbia Cross Roads, Pennsylvania, Windstone Landing Farms blends agricultural heritage with rugged natural terrain. For one October race weekend, the property becomes home base for runners, crews, campers, and volunteers gathering for a shared challenge.
The Course
A single lap gives runners a full tour of Windstone Landing Farms, moving through active farmland, pond views, rolling hills, wooded singletrack, towering pines, creek-side trail, and natural terrain that stays engaging from start to finish.
The Route
Each lap starts and finishes at the aid station area, immediately passes beneath the property's willow tree, crosses the pond land bridge, loops the eastern field, and then heads into the northern woodlands. Along the way runners move through dense forest, a hand-built log bridge, old landmarks like the hunting blind, and finally into The Wall before returning through the pine and fern sections, the farmstead corridor, Windstone Lane, and the short out-and-back toward Hoblet Road.
The 100-mile event starts at a designated point about 0.934 kilometers before the main start/finish area and then completes 32 full loops of the course.
