The Skull Games Challenge - Nov

The Skull Game Challenge at Lake Carl Blackwell is a unique endurance experience created through a partnership between The Next Loop Endurance Series and Skull Games Solutions. This event blends trail running, resilience, and tactical problem-solving into one dynamic race format designed to challenge both body and mind while building community on the trails.

Participants can choose either a 25K or 50K loop-based trail race, with optional challenge stations positioned between loops. These tasks may include strength efforts, mental focus exercises, grappling or skill challenges, sandbag work, pushups, and real-world problem-solving scenarios. Attempting a task can earn time deductions, while successful completion earns even greater credit toward overall finishing time — creating a strategic element alongside endurance performance.

The Skull Game Challenge isn’t just about distance — it’s about adaptability, grit, teamwork, and pushing personal limits in a supportive environment. Whether you’re chasing a fast time, testing your versatility, or simply looking for a new kind of trail event experience, this race delivers something truly different.
