With its amazing pine forests and mutil-use trails, challenging climbs and descents, as well as some unique geological formations on the course, the race held at Pachaug State Forest in Voluntown, Connecticut, offers runners a one-of-a-kind experience in the extreme eastern part of Connecticut. Very runnable and a great first 50-miler, with easy access for crew and pacers- it's three loops of a 16.6 mile course. Weather should be perfect for the time of year. Also offering a 13.1 mile half marathon and a full marathon (two loops of the half course).
