The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic

Welcome to the Midwest Ultra Trail Classic, a true single-track trail running experience held at Knob Noster State Park in Knob Noster, Missouri.

Whether you're looking to tackle your first trail race or your next ultramarathon, the Midwest Ultra Trail Classic offers a distance for every runner. Participants can choose from 10K, 20K, 30K, 40K, or 50K distances, all taking place on the scenic and challenging Opossum Hollow Trail.

The course consists of a 10K loop featuring technical single-track terrain from start to finish. Expect winding forest trails, rolling hills, roots, rocks, creek crossings, and approximately 550 feet of elevation gain per loop. Each additional distance simply adds another loop, allowing runners to enjoy the same fully supported course throughout the day.

All runners will start together and return to the Start/Finish area every 10K, where they will have access to a fully stocked aid station, personal coolers, and any gear they choose to keep at the start area. No drop bags are necessary.
