This is 3, 6, 12, 24, 36, or 48 hour race on a 1.5 mile loop around an organic vegetable farm and farm animal sanctuary just south of Lennox, SD. There isn't much elevation gain or loss and the trail will be determined by how much rain we have gotten over the summer. The course follows a border around our acres of vegetable fields--so it is mainly well traveled dirt and some pasture where the miniature animals reside.
The 48 hour race starts at Noon on Friday, Sept 4th; 36 hour race will start at 11:55 p.m. on Friday, September 4th and end at 12 p.m./Noon on Sunday the 6th. The 24 hour race will start at Noon/12PM on Saturday, September 5th and end on Sunday at 12/Noon. The 12 hour race starts at Midnight/12AM on Sunday, September 6th, the 6 hour starts at 6am on Sunday and the 3 hour starts at 9am on Sunday. All races will end at the same time--Noon on Sunday. You are encouraged to stick around for the fun!
There are camping spots available for runners and crews. We have one fully stocked aid station that you will run by on each 1.5 mile loop (with FLUSH TOILETS). You can also crew from your campsite/car. You crew can hang out at the farm and enjoy the time in the country.
