Lakewood, CO
An excellent race for first time ultramarathoners and trail runners, runners will experience a variety of challenging terrain and sweeping panoramic views throughout the race. The course is pretty fast (by trail/ultra standards), and not overly technical. 95% of the race course is on dirt and single track trails. Approximate elevation gain:
- Baby Bear 10km = 230 ft.
- Half Marathon = 900 ft.
- 50km = 1,930 ft.
- 50 Mile = 3,400 ft.
- 100km = 4,250 ft.
