Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials

You should hear "Jane" by Jefferson Starship when you sign up for this race. Well not actually. But think about the setting! July. Running shorts. An asphalt track. Small town vibes. Welcome to Nowata’s first 12 & 6 hour running event! We hope you’re ready to sweat. It’s sure to be a good time :)

12 & 6 hour 1st Place Male & Female will win a custom belt buckle! 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Male & Female in all 3 categories will get a wooden laser etched plaque. All finishers will receive a wooden laser engraved finisher medal on a lanyard along with a t-shirt with a rad logo! 

One fully stocked aid station at the start / finish and one water, sports drink and ice station on course. This means you'll have access to cold water every 1.6 miles or so! That will be so clutch in the July sun! We plan on having pulled pork, burgers and side dishes for all 12 & 6 hour runners. 

This course is not CLOSED. There will be traffic. We will have flaggers on the busiest street. There will also be signage to alert vehicles of runners. You must pay attention to your surroundings out on the course. 6 & 12 hour will run on a 3.2–3.3 mile "loop." The course will be easily marked. There is approximately 60 feet of gain. There will be some shade on the gravel county road. 60/40 % asphalt/gravel combo.
