Racers of the Bear Mountain Trail Challenge can expect varied, difficult terrain, including rolling hills and plenty of technical footing with plenty of tree cover overhead.

Some sections will be rocky, rooted, and covered in leaves, while other sections will be a bit more open and runnable. While there are no huge climbs, racers can expect to be ascending or descending more or less constantly.Expect mud slippery rocks, and occasional stream crossings. This course will reward the strongest, most versatile trail runners!
