Screaming Eagle Ultra

Located in the Outlet Park, your choice of a flatter 0.6 mile loop or a 3 mile hilly loop trail of compacted fine rock takes you on a scenic and secluded 1,3, or 6 hour run or walk along the Pomme de Terre River through oak, hickory, and cedar forest. No motorized vehicles or horses are permitted. 3 mile Course does contain one set of wooden stairs.
This community trail was built in 2008 by US Corp of Engineers and local volunteers and averages 8' wide (not a single track). A his & hers pit toilets located on the running / walking course.

This is a FAT ASS style event. There is one no frills aid station for each loop. Come and get as many miles as you want. You don't have to start at 7:45 AM unless you're doing the 6 hour. If you want to start later for the 1 or 3 hour, you can. You are in charge of your own miles and time. It's Saturday come out and hang out with us!
