Lakes, larch, granite and goats! You name it, the North Cascades have it. Come experience it all first-hand at the inaugural Sawtooth Ridge 50M — a backcountry tour of all things wonderful and beautiful about the Cascade Range.

Like most Everlong races, Sawtooth Ridge starts and ends in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared for a challenging and remote experience. Runners should know what it means to take ownership of their wellbeing (and not comment on our obvious lack of an inflatable finish line arch). Places this beautiful shouldn’t be too easy to come by.

Although we may be slightly biased, we think this is a special course. The 52-mile loop is 75% single-track (39.1 miles) and 25% fire road (12.9 miles). For the trail-running purists out there, we made sure the course doesn’t touch pavement. You’ll pass four mountain lakes and run above the tree line for about 25 miles. From atop Sawtooth Ridge, you can drink in unobstructed views of Lake Chelan.
