This is a 420 mile run starting in Salt Lake City Utah and ending in Island Park Idaho. There is a mix of urban running and trails. You will see the Wasatch range, Ogden Canyon, Logan Canyon, Bear lake, Jackson Hole, Tetons, and Yellowstone. This is not a stage race. You will be expected to find your own resources. It's still is unknown if this can be completed relying solely on local resources. Crew is encouraged but not necessary.

In the ultra distance they say it's about 20% physical and 80% mental. In the world of journey runs the ratio of mental is even greater. After 3 days of uncertainty and exhaustion there is no room for ego. No room for doubt. Physical abilities no longer provide confidence. Instead you're forced to face the mental insecurities you run from. The excuses become less about physical pain and more about emotional purging. This run is not for everyone, and not everyone will be accepted.
