Salt and Sulfur 420

August 5th 2026
Salt Lake City, UT
420 Miles

420 miles starting in Salt Lake City and finishing in West Yellowstone. This is not just a scenic stroll—this is a relentless journey across rugged terrain, breathtaking landscapes, and challenging conditions that will test your grit, determination, and mental toughness. The terrain is primarily paved road with about 50 ish miles of dirt. This solely focused around adventure, connection to nature, and personal growth. All proceeds will be donated to the Women's Center in SLC.

Something out of the box

In the ultra distance they say it's about 20% physical and 80% mental. In the world of journey runs the ratio of mental is even greater. After 3 days of uncertainty and exhaustion there is no room for ego. After about 5 days there is no room for doubt. Physical abilities no longer provide confidence. Instead you're forced to face the mental insecurities you run from. The excuses become less about physical pain and more about emotional purging. This run is not for everyone, and not everyone will be accepted.
