Running The Sam - Western

A trail race is the perfect way to start the new year! This is the second event in the Running The Sam series; we will have a trail run for everyone, starting with the little ones, and then offering a challenge for all levels of runners:
New to trails? Try the 11k route, it's the flattest of the routes but you will still get to experience the beautiful Lone Star Hiking Trail, a true gem of a trail in the Sam Houston National Forest. 
Want something spicier? Take the 22k route, traveling farther into the Sam using the Lone Star Hiking Trail.
Are you an endurance beast? Go for the 31 or 49k races, they will be well marked and supported with aid stations at multiple points in the course.
